Enterprise Business Systems Administrator
Individual needed to assist in the support of COTS Enterprise Business Systems for medium-sized organization (3,000 employees). Successful candidate with have experience administering / supporting a large or mid-sized ERP (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, SmartStream or equivalent). Responsibilities include working with team members to:
- Insure availability and integrity of information maintained in essential Enterprise systems;
- Proactively plan, test, communicate, deploy and monitor system patches and upgrades to prevent or limit impact of production issues before they occur;
- Work with other teams and applications that require interfaces to/from the applications;
- Interfacing and coordinate with system vendors and other organizational IT staff to support end users and applications;
- Analyze user requests to determine impacts and dependencies, advise users and senior management;
- Develop production and ad hoc end-user reports and data extracts.
Successful candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field;
- 3 – 5 Years Professional Experience in ERP Administration;
- Technical Expertise in SQL (Microsoft SQL or Sybase preferred), HTML/ASP, Microsoft Access and Excel;
- Strong problem solving skills and a proven analytic ability;
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (writing and presentation) skills;
- Experience working in Unix and Windows based environments preferred;
- Experience with Infor SmartStream a plus!
